St. Augustine is too pretty of a place to sit at home during retirement. Come join other seniors like you who want to remain as active as they can! The purpose of our Senior Adult Ministry is to meet the spiritual needs of older adults through sharing the Gospel with them, and providing opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship and ministry involvement. The ministry provides support, teaching and encouragement for those who share similar needs in this season of life.
We offer several opportunities for you to connect with others like you in a LifeGroup.
On the third Monday of every month, September through May, all senior adults age 55+ are invited to the Senior Adult Luncheon. These lunches are a great time of fellowship and outreach to senior adults in the church as well as the community. We meet in the Christian Life Center at 11:30 a.m., and are usually done by 1:00 p.m. after enjoying an entertaining or informational program.
No need to RSVP - the meal is prepared by June Talbert, Food Service Director, and the cost is $4.00.
Join us on the fourth Tuesday afternoon of each month for a relaxing time of playing games; Dominoes, Rummikub, and more! Meet us in CLC 109 at 3:00 p.m. and bring a snack to share! See you there!
