Looking for the Perfect Church?
Keep looking...!!
Because here at Anastasia, we don't claim to be the perfect church. We are a community of imperfect people helping imperfect people embrace Jesus Christ! We are a spiritual lighthouse to our community, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ actively and intentionally to those who need Him. We admit, we are not better than others. Amazingly, Jesus uses us despite our faults and weaknesses.
A few of our core values include:
Spirit-filled Worship. Worship, the expression of our love for God, is not just a weekly event, but an every moment, every action, everyday lifestyle. (Romans 12:1-2, John 4:20-24).
Transformational Teaching. With God’s infallible Word as our source, we teach and learn for more than mere information, but for life-change, as well. As disciples of Jesus Christ we desire to hear His Word, to read it, to study it, to know it and to act upon it. (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Meaningful Community. God has called His people to do “life together.” We need each other for encouragement, growth and accountability. All of our body of believers are encouraged to participate in a “life group” where they can be devoted to one another in the love of Christ. (Acts 2:42-47).
Gift-Oriented Service. Every Christian is saved and equipped to serve in the power of the Holy Spirit. Every believer has a purpose in the body of Christ. God is worshiped when we serve others through His church, both inside and outside the wall), with a compassionate heart and loving attitude. (1 Peter 4:10-11, Ephesians 4:11-16, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27).
Compassionate Sharing of the Gospel. We are imperfect people seeking to reach imperfect people with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ in truth and in grace. Everyone is created and designed by God - that includes all people, regardless of race, creed, language, socio-economic status, or past. (Matthew 18:19-20)
So if you are looking for the perfect church? Keep looking!!
If you are looking for the perfect Savior to change your life?
You've come to the right place!!
May Christ bless you richly,
