*please don’t drop off middle schoolers before 5:30 unless they are going to the CLC for our Super Supper meals (5-6:30pm). Only exception are interns and Innernet team members for rehearsals/sound checks.
6 Chosen Generation (high school choir begins in the adult choir room)
7 Oasis ends with snacks
7:15 JAM - Jesus And Me (middle school choir and worship arts begins on the third floor of the CLC)
7:15 Student Center Foyer waiting – remaining middle schoolers that are not in choir that have not been picked up will need to wait quietly at the benches in this area (walker/ bikers/skaters, etc. that live nearby will need to leave at this time) Have students call their parents from the foyer phone at 7:30 to confirm a ride is on the way and to pick them up directly from the foyer area.)
@ Drop Off/Pick up Location (SouthEast Parking Lot on the other side of the Retention Pond which should be entered on San Juan and exited on Old Beach Rd; in case of rain = Student Center porch)
7:30 Powerhouse begins (high school worship)
*middle school students need to be picked up by this time if they are not in the MS choir
**high school students should not arrive before 7pm unless involved with choir or a pre-approved meeting by a youth leader; they should not just hang out as there will not be adult supervision during the 6-7pm slot outside the student worship service area
8 JAM ends (all middle schoolers must be picked up at this time from the CLC)
9 Powerhouse service ends, snacks and recreation
9:30pm All high schoolers need to be picked up or have left the church by this time
(@ please follow new pick up/drop off location explained above; summer/vacation times may vary)
*Students must respect and obey all volunteer youth workers, especially in regards to appropriate times for talking or moving around (ex-bathroom breaks).
*Students & Cell Phones/Digital Media (students will need to turn off or put their equipment on silent and visually away but not vibrate during the services; if a student needs to be reached for an emergency please call our interns phone # that is located on the Uth Planet; students that need to make an ER call/text need to go out into the foyer but not during the message. If these are not adhered to students will be asked to give them to an adult until service end.)
*Students should not go into the streets or outlining properties and must stay within the student center or immediate lighted south parking lot areas right outside the south double doors.
*Once a student leaves the church property, specifically the student center/south parking lot, they should not return.
*Students should not hang out in their or anyone else’s vehicles in the parking lot before, during or after services.
*Students are expected to wear appropriate and modest clothing. In activities that include the beach or a pool ladies need to wear 1 piece or a full length t-shirt/rash guard over a 2 piece. Guys need to wear shirts unless in the water.
*The youth kitchen is open to adult volunteers only. Students must have permission to get food or drinks. Paper products are for official use only.
*No skateboard, bike, or wheeled riding of any sort inside the building.
*Sound and music equipment can be used by adult workers and ministry team members only (cell phones, ipods, etc should be silenced and not used during worship services unless there is an emergency).
*No food or drinks in the youth worship area, on or near tech equipment and the game tables.
*No public or private displays of affection.
If we have problems with students that do not adhere to these guidelines, the following procedures will be followed by our adult volunteer staff:
First offense Verbal Warning
Second offense Parent Notification by Youth Worker and
Student required to sit with adult during the following service
Third offense Parent Notification by Youth Minister and student suspension could be for 2 weeks or more
