What are “Life Groups?”
Life Groups are groups of people of similar age and life stage who meet for the purpose of developing friendships and growing in their relationship with God. Life Groups are a great place for life change to occur through the study of God’s word.
We are always striving to grow in our relationship with God and with others. Doing life together is the goal we have for each of our Life Groups. Come and do life with us!
At Anastasia Baptist, we want people to experience and learn real answers to real life issues. In fact, that is what God wants for you as well. God never intended for us to live aimlessly in this world; that is why He gave us His word, the Bible. The best way to connect with God and belong to His church is through a Life Group.
Why should I get involved in a Life Group?
As good as our weekend services are, they are not enough for you to become all that God intends for you. Here are just a few of the benefits of being in a Life Group at Anastasia Baptist.
- Sense of belonging to God’s family at ABC. You will lose the feeling that you are just a face in the crowd and you will genuinely connect with other Christians.
- Opportunities to ask questions about the Bible leading to a greater understanding of scripture.
- Support from members of your Life Group that will help you handle life’s stresses and challenges better. You will find a group of friends who will encourage and strengthen you along your life’s journey of discovering God’s plan for your life. It’s through a Life Group that that you’ll receive care from “the church.”
Who can attend a Life Group?
Everyone! ABC has a Life Group for every age group no matter if you are new to Anastasia Baptist or have been attending for awhile. These groups are always ready and open to welcome new people.

- Email us at lifegroups@anastasiabaptist.org and we’ll guide you to a group.
- Click one of the links below.
How do I join a Life Group?
We always encourage people to visit two or three Life Groups until they find the one that is the best fit for them. Once you discover the group that is the best fit for you, simply ask the leader of that group to make you a member. You will be asked to fill out an information form so you can be added to that Life Group. This will ensure that you receive information related to that Life Group such as parties, events, and other special activities.
